Best Celebrity Weddings of 2012

Wedding and Divorce are synonyms in case of celebrity weddings, I know you must be pondering why? Let me explain an instance, Actor Billy Bob Thornton tied the knot for more than 5 times.  Now GIY, yourself to know more about him, I will propose a new saying marriage are made in heaven but broken on earth.  But still I want to give you a synopsis on star-studded weddings took place in 2012.

Firstly, Wedding of Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty, fame Academy presenters and long term friends tied the knot in St. Isidore’s College in Rome. The wedding was attended by 60 people consisting of friends and family, in a beautiful garden in Rome.

Secondly, Wedding of Holly Valance and Nick Candy, The wedding took place in Beverly Hills in September, which lasted for three days. The bride, Holly wore an extravagant white gown by J’Aton with stylish skirt resembling feathers. The groom, Nick wore an incredibly designed a tuxedo by Dolce and Gabbana.

 Thirdly, Wedding of Blake lively and Ryan Reynolds took place in South Carolina last September. It was strictly a secret ceremony with close friends and relatives. An intimate personalized party, gathering with their immediate and extended family at a barn in South Carolina.

Fourthly, Wedding of Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel took place in southern Italy on 19th October. They tied the knot in front of 150 close friends at the Borgo Egnazia, a vast hotel complex surrounded by olive trees and cactus plants with courtyard dressed with white flowers.

Fifthly, Wedding of Rochelle Wiseman and Marvin Humes, couple tied the knot in grand style at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, England. With monochrome theme and plenty of celeb-guest, the wedding kicked with colorful celebrations.

Sixthly, Wedding of Dawn Porter and Chris O’Dowd, couple tied the knot in a boat in August 2012. The ceremony was intimate as close friends and relatives attended the wedding in London. The marriage ceremony lasted for three days; event was dubbed as “Wedfest”.  It was an intimate wedding on a little boat with about 120 close friends and family members.

Seventh, Wedding of Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman, couple tied the knot in grand style in a mansion of their own in California. She wore the beautiful and elegant Chanel dress with Chanel accessories. The wedding was held at a mansion in Montecito, California.

Eighth, Wedding of Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford, couple tied the knot at Stream Farm in Bridgwater, Somerset, England. The couple bought a 16th century farmhouse in Devon, for 2 million pounds. They exchanged vows in a rustic-themed ceremony with close friends and family members.

Ninth, Wedding of Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman, couple tied the knot in the coastal town of Big Sur in California.  More than 150 guests were invited for the wedding weekend, which started Friday with a rehearsal dinner at the Ventana Inn and Spa. A nearby private estate was secured for the ceremony. And Valentino provided a custom gown, for the bride Anne. The wedding décor was inspired by nature, with many branches used to create a ceremony and reception to blend in with the majestic Big Sur surroundings, creating a unique wedding style.

My whole idea behind writing this post is to show still many celebrities have been married for a long time, giving an exemplar to the whole world that “LOVE IS FOREVER” and “WE LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER”.
